Before moving to Nevada in 2006, Soraya was an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell's New York office and was a member of that firm's Estates & Executive Compensation groups.
Soraya has been recognized four times as a Rising Star by Mountain States Super Lawyers® and recognized by Best Lawyers ® in the 25th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America. She became certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist from the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils in 2011. She is also certified as a legal specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization.
Kristy Black advises clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, asset management, and business succession matters.
Kristy’s business background and acumen allow her to counsel clients with a focus on short-term and long-term business, finance, and tax implications. Consequently, Kristy often assists clients in the administration of complicated trusts and estates.
Coming from a large family, Kristy is most interested in generational wealth transfer and stewardship.
Prior to joining Aguirre Riley, Kristy focused on estate planning, business transactions and real estate matters.

Ryan Moser calls on his experience as a Certified Public Accountant to aid his clients in estate and family business planning, tax-exempt entities and probate, as well as the areas of trust administration and corporate law.
Ryan also advises clients on a broad range of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax matters.
Prior to joining Aguirre Riley, Ryan served as an honors intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and as an extern for the Honorable Larry R. Hicks, Senior United States District Judge.
Ryan also teaches accounting courses for the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Tamara represents clients on a variety of matters including probate, trust administration, and guardianship. With over a decade of litigation experience, she helps trustees and other fiduciaries (both individual and corporate), heirs, beneficiaries, and creditors navigate probate- or trust-related disputes. Tamara also assists clients with family law matters, such as premarital and post-marital agreements, and is available to provide guidance and representation in select divorce proceedings.
Prior to joining Aguirre Riley, Tamara was a commercial litigator with Holland & Hart for 13 years. Tamara started out her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark Gibbons at the Nevada Supreme Court.
