She advises individual, corporate, and tax-exempt clients regarding numerous personal legal matters, complex estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, family wealth transfer dynamics, business structuring and succession planning, asset protection, and philanthropy.
Before moving to Nevada in 2006, Soraya was an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell's New York office and was a member of that firm's Estates & Executive Compensation groups.
Soraya has been recognized four times as a Rising Star by Mountain States Super Lawyers® and recognized by Best Lawyers ® in the 25th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America. She became certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist from the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils in 2011. She is also certified as a legal specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization.
Tamara represents clients on a variety of matters including probate, trust administration, and guardianship. With over a decade of litigation experience, she helps trustees and other fiduciaries (both individual and corporate), heirs, beneficiaries, and creditors navigate probate- or trust-related disputes. Tamara also assists clients with family law matters, such as premarital and post-marital agreements, and is available to provide guidance and representation in select divorce proceedings.
Prior to joining Aguirre Riley, Tamara was a commercial litigator with Holland & Hart for 13 years. Tamara started out her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark Gibbons at the Nevada Supreme Court.

Kristy Black advises clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, asset management, and business succession matters.
Kristy’s business background and acumen allow her to counsel clients with a focus on short-term and long-term business, finance, and tax implications. Consequently, Kristy often assists clients in the administration of complicated trusts and estates.
Coming from a large family, Kristy is most interested in generational wealth transfer and stewardship.

Kristin Gifford advises clients in the areas of estate planning, wealth transfer, trust administration, and probate. Prior to joining Aguirre Riley, Kristin built a broad knowledge base through her work in estate planning, financial planning, and mortgage. While in law school, Kristin completed externships with the Honorable Elissa Cadish, the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and the Clark County School District.

Ryan Moser calls on his experience as a Certified Public Accountant to aid his clients in estate and family business planning, tax-exempt entities and probate, as well as the areas of trust administration and corporate law.
Ryan advises clients on a broad range of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax matters. He has an individual focus on transfer and generation shipping tax, specializing in the preparation and review of complex estate and gift tax returns.
Prior to joining Aguirre Riley, Ryan worked for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, was an extern for the Honorable Larry R. Hicks, Senior United States District Judge for the District of Nevada, and spent several years at a large regional public accounting firm.
Ryan serves as the firm’s Controller, where he oversees the daily financial operations and reporting of the firm, performs certain human resource functions, and implements and maintains the firm’s information technology equipment and infrastructure.
Ryan also teaches graduate and undergraduate financial and managerial accounting courses for the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno.
